US Polls: Hillary ‘unfazed’ by Biden as her first TV ads appear
“I suspect there will be a faction of voters who will simply vote against her” because of their feelings toward the former president, Chambless said. “We all feel protective of him, and I know he’ll do the right analysis and figure it out”. But recent conversations between Biden’s associates and Democratic donors and operatives have led to speculation that Biden will challenge front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton for the party’s nomination.

Biden supporters, some of who expect the VP to enter the race by Labor Day, are holding their first fundraiser in an upscale West Hollywood restaurant Wednesday, where about 45 guests with “deep pockets” are expected to attend.
Biden’s Delaware supporters hope he will seriously consider a 2016 race, while acknowledging the toll of the past few months. But he had a mission: “He tried to make his father promise to run, arguing that the White House should not revert to the Clintons and that the country would be better off with Biden values”, the article read.
“Obviously, it’s not a decision you make lightly”, Aitken said. “Especially now”.
The 72-year old Biden has run for president twice before – in 1988 and 2008.
At yesterday’s Voters First presidential forum in New Hampshire, Republican hopeful Lindsey Graham questioned Hillary Clinton’s integrity in a rather jarring way – by bringing up her husband’s affair with Monica Lewinsky. In fact, Biden in the race will sharpen both his, Sanders’ and Clinton’s platforms during the debates, and prepare them for the showdown against whomever emerges from the Republican free for all.
“It hasn’t been a disappointment”, Pierce said of Draft Biden’s fundraising.
And although Texas is not considered in play for Clinton next year, she has always been a Valley favorite. Absent that, Biden would have to out-campaign her. Biden’s previous campaigns don’t suggest that he is a flawless politician on the stump.
Hovering above it all, too, is the death of Biden’s son, Beau. He also served as CEO of the company founded by his family.
But they have kept the flame for a Biden campaign burning, even as other potential contenders like Elizabeth Warren declared themselves out of contention.
Still, it’s probably fair to say that most of Democratic Hollywood holds Biden in the same affectionate regard as the party’s liberal mainstream, which respects him as one of the party’s “stand up guys” and admires his social liberalism and moderate foreign policy savvy.

A review of Draft Biden 2016’s filings shows at least one new contributor has popped up to support a possible bid by the vice president. “I have since matured”, Young-Otterstrom said. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he got the support of Hollywood should he decide to run”. The family has been through an bad lot.
