A recent high school graduate from Sharon, Massachusetts, was among the three people murdered in a shooting in Israel on Wednesday.

Jewish Agency spokesperson Avi Mayer confirmed on Twitter that the American, Ezra Schwartz, was a participant in Masa, a program that provides funding for study overseas and gap year programs in Israel. One of the victims was American student Ezra Schwartz from Sharon, Massachusetts.
Earlier Thursday, two people were killed in a stabbing attack in Tel Aviv, according to Israeli police.
Schwartz was traveling with a group of fellow students of Yeshiva Ashreinu in Beit Shemesh to deliver food to Israeli soldiers patrolling the area, when his vehicle came under attack, according to reports.
The attacks are part of a wave of violence that erupted in mid-September over tensions surrounding a Jerusalem holy site sacred to Jews and Muslims.
That attack killed three people, including Schwartz and an Israeli.
“The kids just loved him”, Sussman said. Maimonides said the school community was “profoundly saddened” and mourned his death. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Ezra’s family, classmates and friends”. But it has struggled to contain the seemingly spontaneous attacks. Israel has beefed up safety across the country in current weeks in light of the assaults, sending troopers to patrol cities alongside hundreds of cops officers.
A knife-wielding Palestinian man fatally stabbed two Israeli men in a southern Tel Aviv office building before being apprehended, police and witnesses said.
A Palestinian man also was killed, emergency services told CNN. At least 84 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire, 52 of them said by Israel to be attackers, the remainder killed in clashes with Israeli troops.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the attacks in a Facebook post. His family was notified of the horrific news a short while after the attack.
