US urges India, Pak to resume dialogue
Regretting cancellation of the planned meeting between the national security advisers of Pakistan and India, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed the hope that the two South Asian neighbours would resume dialogue soon.

Two days after a scheduled meeting of National Security Advisors of Pakistan and India was called off, Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif told his cabinet that any dialogue between the two countries sans the Kashmir issue will be futile.
India suspended the dialogue process with Pakistan in 2008 after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
On the separatists’ issue, which was one of the reason the NSA-level talks were cancelled, Aziz said it was “unwarranted and unjustified” on India’s part to make his meeting with them a big issue.
“If we were not the relevant then why New Delhi had sent a delegation to meet us during the 2010 summer unrest?”
A Pakistani military sniper killed an Indian army officer in the disputed border territory of Kashmir on Tuesday, according to the Indian military.
He said the separatists have been meeting Pakistan pioneers since 25 years, notwithstanding amid the NDA and UPA principle.
“As we’ve said, the issues are important; we recognize that”.
“If it feels its case is strong, it should immediately implement the 18 UN resolutions passed on Kashmir”, Shah said and reiterated his resolve to continue the ongoing freedom struggle to ensure that the sacrifices do not go “waste”.
“I think you can expect that his dance card will be pretty full”, he said. “They too are of the same opinion that New Delhi is not ready to accept the ground realities”, he said.

Basit is also learnt to have dismissed Sushma Swaraj’s contention that Pakistan was confusing the “preamble” of the Ufa joint statement with the agreed points of engagement, and also justified Aziz’s proposed meeting with the Hurriyat who he said were “the genuine representatives” of the Kashmiri people.
