This is the third time in the last seven years he has been questioned by the country’s airport authorities.

“I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at USA immigration every damn time really really sucks”, the actor tweeted. On both occasions USA authorities said this was the last time the actor was put through the embarrassment of being detained.
After India took up the issue, USA ambassador to India Richard Verma sought to douse the flames by apologising to Khan.
Khan’s detention enraged his followers, who called for a similar treatment in reciprocation to visiting USA dignitaries. “Sorry for the trouble at LAX @iamsrk”.
Khan replied to both with similar messages, tweeting, “No trouble sir, respect the protocol & not expecting 2 b (to be) above it”.
Pissed off by the recurring incidents on his USA visits, the actor tweeted about the time he had to spent during the process.
This is not the first time that Shahrukh Khan has been singled out for security checks at USA airports. It’s just a tad inconvenient. “Thx (thanks) for ur concern (sic)”.
Around 15 minutes later, the 50-year-old superstar of Hindi films tweeted in a more positive note: “The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons”. The actor asked SRK fans not to overreact at this incident. “I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at U.S. immigration every damn time really really sucks”, (sic) the actor tweeted. But even after the backlash from fans and fellow actors over the wrongful detention, Khan was taken into custody again in 2012, again in NY.
Khan, known as the “King of Bollywood” and one of the most famous men in Asia and across the Indian diaspora, flew into Los Angeles on Thursday.
“I was really hassled at the American Airport because of my name being Khan”.
