USA election: Trump denies urging supporters to kill Clinton
Donald Trump’s suggestion that gun rights activists could stop his Democratic opponent from curtailing their right to bear firearms proves he does not have the temperament to be USA president, Hillary Clinton said last night.

“Words matter, my friends”.
Hillary Clinton rebuttal to Donald Trump’s call for violence against was an effective devastation that simultaneously supported her argument for why she should be the next president.
Immediately after the inflammatory comment, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) made a call for the Secret Service to investigate Trump for suggesting Hillary Clinton be shot.
As Trump struggled to turn the page on a hard period in his campaign, Clinton’s campaign continued a push to win over Republicans and independents Wednesday, launching a group called “Together for America”.
“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks”, Trump told a North Carolina campaign rally on Tuesday.
“I hope he clears it up very quickly, you should never joke about something like that”, he said. “It’s called the power of unification – 2nd Amendment people have awesome spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power”, said spokesman Jason Miller.
“He has dug himself a deep hole overall because he’s allowed the race to become a referendum on his fitness to be president”, said Republican strategist and Trump supporter Ford O’Connell.
The ads, running on broadcast and cable stations, say Clinton “doesn’t believe in your right to keep a gun at home for self-defense”.
Hillary Clinton continued to attack Donald Trump over comments the Republican candidate made suggesting that his supporters should turn to violence to protect the Second Amendment. It’s truly abhorrent and we must all stand united – regardless of party affiliation to say loudly that Americans reject this kind of hateful and risky rhetoric.
Retired General Michael Hayden, who headed the NSA under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, denounced the remark on CNN, saying it was unsafe no matter the intent. She says all she wants are tougher controls in a country where 13,286 people died from firearms in 2015, a year when 372 mass shootings left 475 people dead and 1,870 wounded. The crowd broke into applause, Trump paused, then moved on to discussing Republican party unity. The figures underscored deep divisions within the Republican Party over Trump’s candidacy.

In the fallout, Trump’s team has offered several different defenses: Spokesman Jason Miller said in a statement to reporters Trump was referring to the “great political power” of “2nd Amendment people” who’ll be “voting in record numbers” for his boss in November.
