USA Freedom Kids Now Suing Trump Campaign
“This is not a billion-dollar lawsuit”. “In lieu of compensation, in lieu of monetary compensation, that we would have this performance”. The girls attended, dressed in their red, white and blue dresses, but Popick says they were forbidden by the Trump campaign from speaking to the media, which hurt their exposure.

“He might still be the best candidate as president of the United States-or not”, Popick told the Post.
The group’s svengali, the father of the smallest kid and penner of that dire ditty, “Freedom’s Call”, Jeff Popick, has said he’s suing Trump.
The USA Freedom Kids have been around for almost three years but became an internet hit when they appeared at a January 13 Trump rally in Pensacola, Fla. They delivered a choreographed and lip synced rendition of “Over There”, called “Freedom’s Call”, a song that Popick wrote himself.
Initially, Popick wanted the girls to be paid for the work, of course, and eventually that devolved into just the ability to have a table set up at campaign appearances where they could sell albums. In this case, the handshake agreement itself seems fairly fuzzy – and seems to involve Popick arguing that because the campaign changed its mind on a Freedom Kids performance, it now owes them. something, including a potential performance at the RNC convention (which obviously did not happen): When Popick first reached out to the Trump campaign about performing, he spoke with various people including former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. Popick and the girls dropped everything to rush to the rally, but were told they wouldn’t sing.
Further, Popick alleges that he and his girls were beckoned to Iowa by the Trump campaign for his counter-debate rally with a promise to perform.
The dad and the three girls rushed to jump on a plane to Chicago, and then planned on driving all the way to Iowa, but when they landed in Chicago, Popick turned his phone on to find that their performance had abruptly been cancelled.
Throughout the frustrating mishaps, Popick told The Post that he would try and contact Trump campaign staffers and would just get passed around but never given answers. “I’ve invested a lot of time, effort, money, and it’s just been complete silence”. The Freedom Girls were a trio of young women who performed a lobotomized pro-Donald Trump pop song at a rally of his in Pensacola, Florida back in January. “You may not like what we’re going to say, but we mean what we say and we say what we mean” – and they just would not say anything of any substance!
