The decision by the show’s creators to leak the season premiere isn’t completely unexpected. Elliot may have wound up with regrets (and missing time), but Darlene saw the wiping out of an enormous pile of the world’s debt as a triumph.

Esmail, who graduated from Gloucester County’s Washington Township High School in 1995, is directing all 12 episodes this season, which opens with the economy in free fall after a cyberattack.
“The only way to do [the block shooting] was to have all the episodes up front and film it like a movie”, said Chaikin. There were a lot of risks that we took in the first season that did well for us and I think now we have that confidence that we can continue taking risks and not play it safe. Maybe we’ll find out in Season 2.
The Mr. Robot Season 2 premiere will arrive on Amazon Prime (in the United Kingdom and U.S.) just a day after each episode airs on US for the entire season.
The series is created by Sam Esmail and stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater and Portia Doubleday.
