The six-time Olympic champion is aiming to retain his 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay titles to make history as arguably the greatest athlete of all-time.
“People should have faith. I just want to go there and compete and I’m looking forward to it”, Bolt said in an interview to CNN.
But he admitted “nothing is guaranteed” when asked if the sprint races at the Games, which start on Saturday, would be “drug-free”.

The 28-year-old now holds the record of 19.19 seconds which was set seven years ago at the Berlin World Championships, and the charismatic multiple-time Olympic sprint champion said he was keen on going below 19 seconds.
He had said in February he would retire after the World Athletics Championships in 2017 and confirmed this would be his last Summer Games. “I’ve always focused on that”, Bolt told a media conference here. But when I get to the 200m, I’m always a little bit nervous, right throughout the rounds, day I start right to the finals.
“I always wanted to run sub-19”.
Speaking in Rio, Bolt said he is seeking to secure a “triple-triple” in all three events for the third, and final, time.
