Usain Bolt wins ninth Olympic gold
Usain St Leo Bolt ended his Olympic career with another gold medal in the 4×100 metre relay race, anchoring his Jamaican team mates to victory in 37.27 seconds, five metres ahead of Japan, that claimed silver. Just after the race in which he led the Jamaican team comprising, Asafa Powell, Bolt’s training partner Yohan Blake and Nickel Ashmeade, Bolt, who will be 30 years on Sunday, penned an appreciation to his fans worldwide. Bolt had earlier defended his 100 and 200 metres championships that he won in Beijing and London Olympics. The U.S. men finished third but were disqualified for exchanging illegally outside the zone at the first change.

“There you go, I’m the greatest”, said Bolt, who has won gold in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay at the last three Games.
He intends to retire after the 2017 World Championships in London and will not compete at Tokyo 2020, at which point he will be almost 34.
Seven track and field golds involving both men and women are up for grabs on Day 15 of the Rio Olympics. “There you go, I’m the greatest”, said Bolt. Some call him Immortal, some Incredible but the fact remains as an audience, it was an honour to witness the great Jamaican sprinting and breaking records.A unusual fact states that if Bolt kept running at his fastest speed from Earth all the way through space to the moon, he would get there in 9,713 hours. “As long as we got the baton round, it was never in doubt”.

“It’s a brilliant feeling”. I’m happy, but I’m relieved. It’s great to be in the history books as one of the greatest.
