The Trojans would stay poised however, capitalizing on four first half turnovers by the Sun Devils to take a stranglehold on the game, leading 35-0 at the half. USC has had no problems moving the football with quarterback Cody Kessler throwing for close to 1,000 yards at a 78.7% completion rate and a sparkling 10-0 TD-INT ratio.

Arizona State, a trendy preseason pick in the Pac-12 South, disappeared from view after a blowout loss to Texas A&M in the season opener. USC’s defense is going to have to find a way to bounce back in this contest and it will be tough because Arizona State is completely opposite of Stanford when it comes to offensive tendencies; the Sun Devils love to spread teams out and aren’t the physical team Stanford brings. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. PT kickoff and will be broadcast live on ESPN from Sun Devil Stadium. In those two games, USC has been outscored by a combined 42 points.

Receiver Juju Smith-Schuster has 22 catches for 434 yards and 4 touchdowns. “But I’m a big fan of away games when you’re the underdog and you go in there, and there’s automatically adversity about you when you step on the field”.

With the loss, Todd Graham’s team falls to 2-2 on the season.

Arizona State finally got on the board in the third quarter, on a Richard’s reception. The road does not get any easier for the Sun Devils as they travel to UCLA next weekend to face the Bruins. The tandem also connected earlier in the quarter for a four-yard touchdown pass.

USC quarterback Kody Kessler has been rolling. Offensively, they are a fun team to watch with an average of 48.3 points per game, the 11th-ranked scoring team in the country. He has thrown just one interception, and has a 140 quarterback rating, but has completed just 61.9 percent of his passes and was sacked nine times against the Aggies.
