USC football player Osa Masina charged with rape in Utah
Masina was charged today with rape and two counts of forcible sodomy in Utah, according to police in Cottonwood Heights.

Masina, 19, acknowledged having sex with the woman but said it was consensual, said Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill.
USC linebacker Osa Masina has been charged with 1 count of rape in Utah. stemming from an alleged incident back in July. this according to the Cottonwood Heights PD.
USC defensive lineman Don Hill is also under investigation for the same incident which reportedly took place in July.
The university suspended Masina and Hill from all football activities this week.
They also believe Masina could be a danger to others – due to the allegations against him in Los Angeles.
Masina’s attorney Greg Skordas did not immediately return a telephone message Thursday.
All of the charges are first-degree felonies, which could bring about a sentence of five years to life in prison, according to Skordas.
Masina has been under investigation for a sexual assault.
An arrest warrant has been issued and bail has been set at $250,000 – officials believe he’s a possible flight risk. He missed 2016 spring practice because of a team rules violation.
