USC Game vs. LSU Could Be Moved
The No. 7 LSU football team is scheduled to take on the University of South Carolina at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina, but today sparked the question as to where the game will take place because of recent flooding and hurricane-like weather. “It’s not a definite”. A decision is looked to be made in the next 24-36 hours.

There are conversations about possibly moving the game to another city.
Tanner has spoken with LSU officials about the possibility of playing the game at LSU.
At least nine dams have breached or failed in South Carolina since Saturday, the state’s emergency management agency said early Tuesday.
He noted that logistical concerns such as highways access, the stadium water situation, first responders, highway patrolman and other police they use around the midlands for such an event.
USC announced earlier Tuesday that it was cancelling classes for the week due to damage and logistics issues caused by devastating flood in the city this week.
Tiger Stadium is prepared to LSU vs. South Carolina on Saturday if called upon, LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette told WWL radio Tuesday.
Portions of Columbia have seen more than 20 inches of rain in the past several days, resulting in heavy flooding through the area.
But there are obstacles to moving the game to Charlotte, according to the Charlotte Observer, including a scarcity of hotel rooms in the area because of the NASCAR Sprint Cup race Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Now the Panthers have more than a week and a half until their next game and must feel good about the health of one or two backups.
That could make selling concessions problematic.
It is believed that a home game has never been moved from Williams Brice.

“As far as our situation at Williams-Brice and the field conditions, we’ve been spared”, said Tanner. “There’s constant dialogue. The SEC office is involved as well”.
