USC’s Chuma Edoga ejected for pushing a referee
I get that he’s trying to keep Edoga from going after the Utah State player, but what the hell?

USC left tackle Chuma Edoga was ejected within the first two minutes of his team’s game vs. Utah State on Saturday after he got physical with an official.
After Trojans quarterback Max Browne was sacked, Edoga hit an Aggies defender in the face while on the ground. Edoga appeared to throw a punch near Davis, but was moved away from the exchange by umpire Rick DiBernardo. As officials separated the players in the pile, Edoga was unhappy. It never works out for you, and Edoga deserved to be kicked out of the game for what he did.
The umpire immediately flagged Edoga for the contact and the sophomore was tossed from the game for making contact with an official.
Last week Jabari Ruffin stomped on the groin of an Alabama player.

Edoga, who was starting in place of Chad Wheeler, then pushed the official. He also had to write a letter of apology. The Trojans also are playing without starting center Toa Lobendahn, who is out for the season with a right knee injury.
