State officials have not disclosed where the Zika victims live.
Health officials detected an explosive rise in the number of Zika cases in Brazil in May, accompanied by an rise in microcephaly, a birth defect in which babies are born with unusually small heads and developmental delays.
SA Health chief medical officer Paddy Phillips did not say where the affected man had caught the virus, citing privacy concerns.
At this point, hers is the only positive finding, with four negative findings.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) wants people to understand the facts about the Zika virus.
Florida has a total of 42 confirmed Zika cases, the health department said, including 17 in Miami-Dade and six in Broward. Zika is a disease spread through the bite of an infected mosquito in tropical climates that leads to flu-like symptoms, fever, rash, red eyes and muscle pain. Women who are trying to become pregnant should talk to their health care provider before traveling. The mosquito transmits the Zika virus and is being studied at the institute.
Brazil said it has confirmed more than 580 cases of microcephaly, and considers majority to be related to Zika infections in the mothers. Holbrook said local spread of the virus is only possible if one of two types of Aedes mosquitoes bites an infected person and then bites another person. Chan said 4 out of 5 healthy adults with the disease “will not develop symptoms” of any kind.
Pregnant women are the most at-risk and should avoid traveling to countries that are affected.
Women who are pregnant and have sexual partner(s) who have traveled to areas with Zika are advised to abstain from sex or use condoms consistently for the duration of the pregnancy.

Health Minister Jack Snelling said the man was “fine” but reminded those travelling to countries known to have the Zika virus to take precautions.
