Boise State Broncos (3-1) travel at the Romney Stadium, Logan, UT to take on the Utah State Aggies (1-2) in a College Football battle on October 16th, 21:00.

Boise State should be able to recover after tonight and win out.

It’s also one of the biggest wins in the program’s history, not just an important win for this season. Boise State Broncos rank at 102 for 76.5 road rushing yards where as Utah State Aggies rank at 10 for allowing 52.0 rushing yards at home.

Boise State quarterback Brett Rypien fumbles the ball as he’s hit… Argyle transferred to Utah State prior to last season, while Sheets joined the Aggies this fall. Boise State’s next four possessions ended in turnovers.

The Aggies (4-2, 3-0 Mountain West) snapped a 12-game losing streak against Boise State that dated 18 years.

At present the Boise State Broncos show a record of 3-1, and have declared a corresponding log of 2-2 against the spread.

Unbelievably, and after forcing a three-and-out with 2:30 minutes left that gave them the ball just shy of the 50 with a chance to add to the momentum, the Broncos handed the ball back to the Aggies on a Devan Demas fumble with 2:09 left in the quarter. The Aggies scored 21 points in the final 85 seconds of the first half thanks to two fumbles and the interception.

Boise State coach Bryan Harsin called Utah State’s Kyler Fackrell one of the best in the country this week and the senior linebacker didn’t disappoint.

“We needed guys to work together”. Fackrell forced one fumble and recovered two, while Vigil had one of each.

The Broncos had 10 first downs and the seven turnovers in the first half and allowed 35 points off those turnovers. The loss puts the Broncos in third place behind Utah State and Air Force in the Mountain Division. Then the Aggies forced turnovers on three straight drives to really blow the game wide open.

With:11 seconds to play, Rypien threw his third pick of the game, which Marwin Evans returned 90 yards for a touchdown as the final seconds ticked off the clock. Running back Kelsey Young ran for 60 yards and two touchdowns for the Broncos. The defense, again, set up the other two scores as Vigil and senior CB Bryant Hayes each recovered a fumble. Entering Friday night, Rypien had thrown seven touchdowns and one interception over his past three games.
