Valdosta State University students escorted out of Trump rally

“I’m sitting in a house in Florida with a very bad earpiece that they gave me, and you could hardly hear what he was saying, but what I heard was various groups”, Trump said on NBC’s “Today” show. They were simply wearing black and standing on the bleachers in order to make a statement, according to one of the students involved.

The students insist they were acting peacefully and there was no reason for their removal by Secret Service, but Childress said some of them were disruptive.

It’s not clear exactly why the students were escorted out.

The twin incidents at the Trump rally on the eve of Super Tuesday raised questions about the role of the Secret Service on the campaign trail.

“We didn’t plan to do anything”, Tahjila Davis, a 19-year-old mass media major, told The Des Moines Register.

The students were quietly escorted out of the event by Secret Service, but were then met with Valdosta police officers who supposedly “politely, but firmly” asked the students to leave the event.

When he stepped out of the area, a Secret Service agent tried to get Morris to return to the press pen.

Another Secret Service agent told CNN the two latter organizations were responsible for the students’ removal.

The Hill newspaper reported that, at another rally Monday at Radford University in Virginia, Trump told Black Lives Matters protestors that “all lives matter”. “The Secret Service will provide further details as warranted once additional facts surrounding the situation are known”.

“Our local field office is working with their law enforcement partners to determine the exact circumstances that led up to this incident”.

His GOP rivals have jumped on him for the gaffe, but a recent survey shows that most of Trump’s supporters are not aware of what he said on CNN or several other Trump-related issues.

“I disavowed David Duke all weekend long, on Facebook, on Twitter, and obviously, it is never enough”, he added.
