Valentine’s Day DLC revealed as Rockstar launch new content

As fans might expect however, players shouldn’t expect to peacefully jump out of a plane in the new “Drop Zone” Adversary Mode for GTA Online. Grand Theft Auto Online’s 2x RP and GTA$ Event Weekend is live now and will run through 31st January. However, the game’s latest mode, released today, is unlike anything players have played before.

Update 1.16 sees a new Drop Zone Adversary mode make its way to Los Santos, not to mention the addition of two new cars – the $15,000 Karin Sultan and the $102,000 Bravado Banshee. Up to four Teams of paratroopers will be fighting hard for a chance at territorial control, knowing that victory in the smoke-filled arenas of Drop Zone will result in rank and bank balance blowing up on the double.

Benny’s Original Motor Works, one of the custom vehicle shops available only within the Grand Theft Auto Online universe, also gets a pretty sweet update in the latest release. There’s the slick Mazda looking Bravado Banshee 900R and the off-road ready Karin Sultan RS. Both of these lovely cars can be given the full make-over treatment like the other Lowriders. The speedy rides can be found in the stock section, and can be upgraded into Super class cars for online races.

Rockstar also confirmed that the upcoming event weekend would give participating gamers double the intake in terms of in-game money for completing missions, and double the reputation points as well.

Rockstar is also planning to launch a range of events for the weekend to celebrate the arrival of Drop Zone and the two vehicles, and it seems that the studio is also planning to introduce a special content update associated with the coming Valentine’s Day.
