Valerie Harper Released from Hospital
Actress Valerie Harper, who you may remember from her iconic role as Rhoda Morgenstern on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “Rhoda“, has fallen into a coma after being found unconscious backstage at a theater in Maine. “She is now enjoying her family’s company while resting at an undisclosed location”, the statement read.

And sending her supporters her love the four-time Emmy victor could not resist making a sly joke about the attractive young men who had rushed to aid. I am happy to report I am not, nor have I been, in a coma.
Harper said she wasn’t feeling well on Wednesday and was hospitalized.
There’s been no official word from the Harper family on her condition.
There wasn’t any more information on if her hospital stay was related to her cancer or treatment, but just recently she had told PEOPLE, “When I wake up in the morning, I don’t say, ‘Oh, I have cancer.’ I say ‘Another day”.
Harper has been performing within the manufacturing as Millicent Winter, together with Sally Struthers as Duchess Estonia Dulworth.
The director then added, “She wants all of you to know after some fluids and rest she hopes to be right back here on stage later this week”.

In April 2014, Harper said that although she is not “cancer-free”, she remained optimistic and hopeful for the future. In 2007 she returned to the stage to portrayed former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir in a national tour of the one-person show Golda’s Balcony. Two years later, she isn’t “cured” but has outlasted the earlier expectations. In 2010, she returned to Broadway to star as actress Tallulah Bankhead in the play Looped, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress.
