Van Gaal: Champions League ambitions rest on winning derby
Jose Mourinho has signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United with a view to replacing Louis van Gaal as manager of the English giants next season.

After winning four games in a row, United have followed that up with a three-match winless streak and once again Louis van Gaal’s job is in question again.
The newspaper said a source from his agent Jorge Mendes’s company Gestifute had confirmed the 53-year-old had already signed an agreement to move to Old Trafford last month, although United still reserve the right to change their mind.
“We are now four points behind City, I think, so you have to win”.
“The likes of Neymar is a world-class player and I’ve got some work to do to get to those sort of levels”. “I think it would be hard then because West Ham United are also in front of us, so it’s not only City, but West Ham United”. A win for United would keep alive slim hopes of a top-four finish this season.
Manchester City take on Manchester United in the Premier League clash at the Etihad on Sunday, 20 March.
“We will play against a strong team with a lot of history and they will do all they can to win that game, so we must not be trusting in those kind of things”.
Fans of both teams may have blotted from their memories the sad excuse of a football match that passed for the 170th derby in October.
In 2012, a derby in April decided the league title.
“Yes, they play each other. United have a very good squad, it doesn’t matter which way they play they’re always a unsafe team”. You think that is logical, normal?
However, Pellegrini will continue to be without Kevin De Bruyne, Fabian Delph and Samir Nasri through injury. West Ham, Liverpool and Man United are breathing down their neck and are waiting for them to make a mistake.
The England winger was pulled off at half-time in the club’s 3-0 embarrassment at the hands of Liverpool at the beginning of the month, and has yet to start a game since.

Ashley Young and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have returned to training but this game might be too soon as they are lacking match fitness so they could miss out along with Wayne Rooney, Luke Shaw, Phil Jones and Will Keane.
