Van Gaal tells Manchester United to sign Real Madrid forward
Louis van Gaal has confirmed Manchester United’s interest in Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is more likely to join French side Paris St-Germain than move back to Old Trafford if he does opt to leave the Bernabeu.
Following Real Madrid’s disastrous El Clasico this weekend, where they were drubbed 4-0 by Barcelona, The Telegraph states Cristiano Ronaldo has issued an ultimatum to Real president Florentino Perez.
“Memphis and Jesse played really well and we shouldn’t forget had great chances in the first half to score the second goal which would have made it easier”. There is now a strong case for Ronaldo being the best player in the world in name only, with Neymar also perhaps usurping him as Lionel Messi’s closest rival.
Manchester United plan to sign a left-back in January as Luke Shaw recovers from a broken leg, with Wolfsburg’s Swiss star Ricardo Rodriguez the latest player to be scouted. “But these players are mostly ungettable”, the Dutchman was quoted as saying by several British newspapers yesterday.
He turns 31 in February and recent reports in Spain say he is frustrated at the Spanish giants and wants to opt out.
Ronaldo’s emotional return to the Theatre of Dreams in March of 2013 as part of Real Madrid’s successful Champions League campaign also compounded the superstar’s desire to reunite with the Red Devils.
The Portugal global is a three-time World Player of the Year and is Real’s all-time leading goalscorer. He won three Premier League titles while playing for the Manchester United before he went over to Madrid.
“I was convinced Shaw would have a very good season”. Would he make an adjustment for Ronaldo?
“He says, ‘Pat you know the way I love Man United'”.
