Acura is one of at least nine brands that will advertise in this year’s Super Bowl. There’s no voiceover – just the beat of a particular raw version of Van Halen’s Runnin’ with the Devil.

It all started in 2012, with an ad featuring Jerry Seinfeld attempting to pick up the first Acura NSX off the production line. It focuses on the nearly mystical creation of the new iteration of the NSX, Acura’s supercar. The new NSX is the return of a widely beloved nameplate, with a much-maligned development process that spans almost 9 years. Performance is staggering, with a 0-60 time in the low three-second range, and a top speed of 191 miles per hour.

The 2017 Acura NSX is getting ready for its market launch, and the brand is taking full advantage of all the potential promoting possibilities. Additional media assets and information, including screen shots, 2017 Acura NSX pricing, features and high-resolution photography is available at AcuraNews.com.

Meanwhile, Acura launched a Twitter campaign with the hashtag #DriveAcuraNSXContest, giving US customers the chance to win a test drive of the NSX – the only supercar ever designed, developed and built in America.
