The new Bon Jovi concert will take place at Rogers Arena on Saturday night at 8 p.m. “Thirty years and 3,000 shows and its absolutely incredible”, Paul Korzilius of Bon Jovi Management tells Billboard.

The town of Vancouver stated in a press release that it had offered preliminary help for the occasion however the organizers didn’t have the required metropolis permits.

Paper Rain Performances says it still hopes a future date can be confirmed.

Ticket sales, which ranged from $39 to $595, were halted earlier this week with no indication whether the 7,200 fans who already bought their tickets would be refunded.

“At this point in time, it is really is just about attorneys and we have gone on record saying that we are going to seek legal action as best we can if that is what the courts will permit”, he said.

“The show was on track to be very successful”, Korzilius said.

Bon Jovi’s worldwide jaunt will include first-time ever visits to China and Israel.

Jon called me, and said ‘make it happen, ‘” he said.

Bon Jovi himself is disappointed the originally planned show failed. “Of course. Everyone involved in this is”.

“If [the parks board] isn’t happy or satisfied, then we know there isn’t going to be a show”.

With the release of “Burning Bridges” (Mercury), Bon Jovi finds itself in a series of odd situations.
