West started his fashion career by making a statement with his first Yeezy collection, pairing nude body stockings with simple sportswear.
Fuming guests were trapped on buses while waiting for Yeezy to show, and at least one model fainted from the heat. Like previous seasons, Kanye presented a collection full of military-inspired pieces in a neutral color palette that included tight-fighting dresses, leggings, draped sweaters, and oversized outerwear.
Kanye was reported involved in a traffic snarl-up on the way to the show, which was originally meant to start at 3pm, was then pushed back to 4, but didn’t end up starting until nearly 5pm.
But things didn’t exactly go to plan.

Fashion’s top designers, editors, and social media bloggers showed up in their thousands to support Kanye with his latest project, which was held outside Manhattan in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park.
The event kicked off New York Fashion Week.
The 39-year-old rapper shared this news in an interview with Vogue, “We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio”.
