Vardy and Mahrez should stay at Leicester – Albrighton
Striker Jamie Vardy with 14 goals and winger Riyad Mahrez (with 10) have captured the headlines, and have been linked with big-money moves to some of their struggling rivals.

The Leicester City attacking midfielder joined from Le Havre in January 2014 for a fee reportedly around £500,000 but has been a revelation in Claudio Ranieri’s side this season and scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win over Swansea on Saturday.
Mahrez, 24, is now in the form of his life and notched his first Premier League hat-trick at the weekend to send Leicester back to the top of the table.
“We could have been four or five up at half-time and you can see teams fear us going forward”, Albrighton said after Leicester had scored for the 16th consecutive Premier League game.
“I don’t think it would do them any good to go anywhere at the minute. If he wants to win the league I think he should add to it. And I think there maybe a great chance”.
Leicester City goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has insisted that the team are not thinking about the possibility of qualifying for the Champions League this season.
“If they can continue doing it that could play a massive part in what we do this season”.
The 54-year-old would not be the only Italian coach in the Premier League, as Claudio Ranieri is overseeing the unbelievable transformation at Leicester.
Jamie Vardy and co were spotted in fancy dress, sat in a bar in the city centre just hours after beating Swansea away 3-0 to give themselves a two-point cushion in first place. “The club deserve better than what we are giving them”, Monk said after the defeat to Leicester. “They help each other and talk to each other, the dressing room leads our play”. How far can they go with this present squad, can they last the whole season?’
Leicester City are set to face Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Manchester City in the coming weeks.
Vardy’s red-hot scoring streak has attracted the interest of Chelsea and Manchester United, and his success has given Leicester – and the striker himself – a tricky dilemma, according to Ferguson.
“It is natural, it is progress”.
Since Danny Simpson and Christian Fuchs have come in for Ritchie De Laet and Jeffrey Schlupp respectively, Leicester have conceded seven goals in eight games. Our Darren (his son) wanted to sign him at Peterborough but Leicester came in.
