Vardy reflects on record-breaking achievement
“With Jamie’s success I think you will see them have a little bit more of a wider look”.

Should he score by the banks of the Tawe this weekend, Vardy will become the first player to score in 12 consecutive top-flight games since Jimmy Dunne for Sheffield United in 1932.
Only three players have ever scored more Premier League goals after 14 games and two of them went on to lift the golden boot.
Record signing Kevin De Bruyne scored the opening goal for City, with the playmaker setting up the others for Fabian Delph and Aleksandar Kolarov. The Foxes ended 2014/15 in good form, but many just saw this as Nigel Pearson getting a late response from his side as relegation threatened.
“Breaking Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record is a truly wonderful achievement; and add to that that Leicester are flying near the top of the league, it has to be Vardy for the second month running”.
Refreshingly, Vardy still acts the part of hard-working and lucky man. He’s grateful and “pinching himself” as he writes on Twitter.
He is now the hottest striker in the Premier League after creating his own record of 11 goals in 11 successive matches.
After today’s sweet strike against Manchester United, the man who once plied his trade for Stocksbridge Park Steels now holds the record for goals scored in consecutive Premier League games.
“We want to keep him here for a long time”.
Diego Costa and Wayne Rooney have had contrasting fortunes to that of Vardy and Kane this season, as they’re really struggling to find the back of the net.
The Daily Star previously claimed that United manager Louis van Gaal was looking at the England global as a potential transfer target following his blistering start to the new campaign.
Editor Kevin Booth said: “It was an historic moment for the player, the club and the city”.

Will Jamie Vardy still be having a part after these?
