Mumbai: Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have been shooting for “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” relentlessly in Kota, Rajasthan. The video shows Varun and Alia locking lips while shooting a scene in “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”. Since Varun knew that he could give his best only after he got drunk, he did this. Even Varun admitted he wouldn’t have given such a natural take had he been sober. Apparently, Varun had got drunk for shooting a similar emotional scene in the original film as well in 2014. “But he knew that it was important for the scene”, adds the insider. Well, the scene required the actor to act heavily inebriated and Varun made a decision to actually get drunk. “I was high for a while, but everything was okay”, Varun was quoted by the daily. After their dream Team tour, both Alia and Varun stayed back in the USA for a while to shoot an ad and as soon as they came back, they resumed the shoot of the film.

Varun & Alia has done two film together including Students Of The Year, which was their debut film while their second collaboration was seen in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhani. They can be seen posing for a picture along with their fan.
