Vega Joins The Street Fighter V Roster
This time around, switching between claw and clawless is a choice that grants different movesets and can be done mid-battle. In Street Fighter V, claw and no-claw will be two distinct methods of combat.

Street Fighter V was revealed to the world at the beginning of the year with just two characters.
Vega, a mainstay of the Street Fighter series since his debut in the second title, arrives in the upcoming title with a few improvements and even some brand-new mechanics, according to the announcement on the PS blog. Vega’s playable at Gamescom and somewhat shakes up the rumours of which characters would be announced next.
Capcom has released new trailer revealing Vega will be joining the roster of fighters in Street Fighter V. To be honest, with a little bit more work, we could turn Vega into the prince from Beauty and the Beast. In previous games, a certain amount of damage taken or blocked would cause Vega to drop his claw and mask, reducing his range and armour respectively. An opponent could knock off Vega’s claw with successive blows, which would then require Vega to walk over the claw in order to pick it back up.

Those attending Gamescom will be able to go hands-on with a new build featuring Vega.
