Temperatures will stay below zero through the noon hour and then a high of just 2 degrees is expected this afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a wind advisory for Monroe, Genesee, Orleans and Wyoming counties.
The next chance for snow might be around next Thursday morning or next Sunday the 17th.
A low of 12 below is expected for Saturday night, with a wind chill making it feel like 29 below. Some light snow is in the forecast, with up to an inch of accumulation possible. As the air temperature continues its fall to subzero readings, the wind chill will be dangerously cold. “Between Friday and Saturday rainfall totals will be mostly between 0.5″ and 0.75” with some locally higher amounts.

Although we’ll see plenty of sunshine temperatures only top out in the mid and upper 20s.
