Veteran gives Purple Heart to Trump
But Kerr said he realizes actually sending Trump to a war zone is unrealistic, and the money will actually be going to “a good cause that Donald Trump would vehemently oppose: aiding Syrian refugees”.

“This was much easier”, he said of the gift.
On Tuesday, Donald Trump was gifted one at a campaign event.
This follows a feud between Trump and a Gold Star family of Muslim faith who spoke at the Democratic National Convention.
“It’s one of the most lovely things that I’ve ever received”, Trump said. “I’d just like you to keep saying what you’ve been saying”.
Among those aghast over Trump’s comment and his acceptance of the Purple Heart?
Amid a flurry of white supremacist excuse making, Trump’s attacks on the Khans have also been condemned by veterans groups and by veteran and former POW, Sen. Dorfman went on to say that Trump would make a good Commander-in-Chief, and that he has no regrets about giving Trump his medal.
The medal, awarded to military members wounded or killed during service, was given to Donald Trump, he said, by a veteran at Trump’s rally in Virginia.
The Purple Heart is given to those serving in the armed forces who are wounded in combat.
“I put up a lot of money to fund my own campaign”, he said. He’s also made conflicting statements about why he was never called up for service himself during the Vietnam War.
Later during the rally, Trump claimed that 20 people have given Hillary Clinton a total of $60 million and he would like to know who those people are. His campaign later said he suffered from the temporary malady in both. “You can get that baby out of here”, he said. She replied in an op-ed in the Washington Post that she didn’t speak because she was in pain, and also denounced Trump. In an interview published Monday in USA Today, the nominee continued to defend his friend Roger Ailes, who was ousted from his position as head of Fox News after charges of serial sexual harassment.
Trump did acknowledge ABC News’ Tom Llamas for accurately reporting that the medal is indeed authentic. He said workplace harassment should be reported.

While others simply chalked it up to Trump being, well, Trump. Trust me I’m strong.
