Veterans Day salutes all service men, women
Together they all saluted the men and women of our Armed Forces, many of whom who now serve in uniform as law-enforcement officers, like Master Sergeant Trevor DeBoer, one of this year’s guest speakers.

Walsh said it was a pretty “raw” day outside, but a “wonderful, wonderful day” to see his fellow veterans and the many members of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps that participated in the parade from the local high schools.
Today we honored those who have served in our country’s military.

June 1, 1954 – President Dwight Eisenhower signs a bill changing Armistice Day to Veterans Day in order to include all USA veterans. He said his memories of serving in Vietnam will always stay with him.
