I think from us it was the maximum.

Reaction from the top three drivers after qualifying in Russian Federation. I think we have shown great pace especially on Sunday and that’s where you get the points.

“It’s not easy to pass, it’s not easy to follow, so we’ll see”. The vehicle is good, so I am confident for tomorrow. “We are not at kindergarten so I think it’s for grownups and therefore the challenge is tough but ultimately we want to be the best so we have to be ready to tackle the best and so far we are very optimistic that we can turn it around”. The vehicle feels good and yeah, I think all weekend it had been quite strong.

Raikkonen, however, denied the team expected more from the upgrade.

“Of course I would have liked the gap in the end to be a bit smaller”, he said of the seven-tenths gap to his countryman, “but I think, in Q2, we saw that Nico, in particular, was very strong, and it was a good job from his side”.

“There are no massive things there, some improvements here and there, with the whole package in the vehicle, so we take it”.

“We are quicker than those cars, we have good chance to make up ground but it is never easy”.

“People are very interested – “oh you have a new engine” – but we put new parts on all the time and try to improve all areas so it’s a very normal thing”.
