Viber finally has a Windows 10 app (but it’s in beta)

AirAsia app was already available in the Store before the release of the new version, but it was built for Windows Phone, therefore it wasn’t Universal. It’s in beta for now, but it’s a great start, and it packs all of the features you would expect to see in a mobile Messenger app. The availability is subject to regions and might require a download check at your end as nothing official has been announced. As we exit the initial preview phase, we are moving the Universal app to replace the 8.1 version under the Remote Desktop name for devices running both Windows 10 and Windows 10 mobile. In fact, the Store listing clearly states that the app is for a limited amount of testers.

Or, as Neowin reports, you can temporarily change the region on your Windows Store account to France or Germany, then once you have the app you can change it back and still freely download it from the My Library section of the store. It would appear that phones with their regions set to the United States won’t be able to obtain the app from the Store, but if you change it to France or Germany, you’re good to go. The app also allows you to search for flights, and easily check in.

Additional features in the app include end-to-end encryption, People app integration, public chats, group messages of up to 200 people, as well as the ability to delete a message after it has been sent. Once you sign into the app, you’ll get a notification that looks like it came straight out of an iPhone.
