Vice President Joe Biden motivation for 2016 run not ‘family obligation’: Halperin
On a story today at The Hill, it reads “Anticipation builds for Biden”, as in anticipation that the Vice President will announce he is running against frontrunner Hillary Clinton for their party’s 2016 presidential nomination.

As such, the Draft Biden effort, which now has roughly 30 grassroots organizers on the ground in early voting states and is in the process of expanding to Super Tuesday states, is preparing to transform itself into the primary Super PAC supporting Biden’s presidential campaign.
The group’s use of Biden’s personal tragedies to argue why he should run underscores how much Biden’s allies plan to rely on goodwill after Beau’s death to help him build enthusiasm around a bid.
The ad is set to run on CNN ahead of the Democratic candidate debate on October. 13 and then again the next day, so whether Biden is there or not, he will still be visible to voters.
The speech quickly drew strong reactions among Democrats. “But Biden outperforms Clinton in general election match-ups in those critical swing states”.
This news story is no longer new as an article written by Maureen Dowd was published on the New York Times on August 1 already revealed this piece of information. What do you make of it? “I don’t think this is a big deal”. A recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll of New Hampshire Democrats showed Sanders firmly in the lead with 42 percent to Clinton’s 28 and Biden’s 18. ‘It’s a “you know it when you see it” type thing.
One of the Democratic strategists who spoke to Daily Mail Online said Biden would most-likely gather his family together over the three-day weekend to tell them he’s in.
In an interview Tuesday promoting her new book, Mitt Romney’s wife Ann didn’t rule out the possibility that her husband could still get into the race. NBC News national correspondent Peter Alexander is at the White House with all the headlines from politics.
Biden has acknowledged his own doubts about running.
All that’s missing is the candidate. That would nearly certainly change somewhat – or maybe more than somewhat – if he ran for president.
There was also a particularly heavy commercial just released by a group called “Draft Biden”-a Super PAC that aims to get Biden to run”. Biden’s first wife, Neilia, and young daughter, Naomi, died in a vehicle crash that left both of his sons badly injured in 1972 when the station wagon they were driving in to go Christmas shopping was hit by a tractor trailer. Yet the Super PAC’s original intention was to run the ad ahead of and during the upcoming Democratic debate.
In an unexpected development, it has emerged that Joe Biden might have inadvertently politicized the issue of his son’s death.
