Ferne McCann was given the choice of her favourite dessert – profiteroles – or the live spider. When asked “Did you expect your jungle experience to be like that?” “I don’t think I deserve it. Thank you so much!” . Ant and Dec didn’t disagree.
In the troubling scenes, McCann traps the Australian water spider in a glass and shakes it around vigorously, shrieking as it touches her hand. But it was certainly enough to put the nation off its dinner.
“This is just all so surreal to me”, she said. “You’re an incredible, fun, funny, lively person with a stunning personality – don’t change and fair play to you”.
But now Vicky insists her mum is finally proud of her again. George and the others are like brothers.
“When I was younger, I did all the right things, I went to uni, I got a degree”.
No wonder Lady C called him a “a capital chap”.
Vicky admitted she was stunned to win after the finale of the ITV reality show and even thought she might not be able to cope being out of contact with her family in the jungle.
Vicky joined GMB presenters Susanna and Piers on the sofa after her win – but when Susanna offered her a job, the I’m A Celebrity victor turned it down.
“But Ferne, this might come as a bit of a shock, but I wasn’t sure about her. But within seconds I absolutely loved her. We will be friends for life”. I am young and I make mistakes, and I will be feisty, but in there it is hard to argue with people you like and admire.

“Aye, bring it on”, she said, as she was handed her flowery crown and hefty wooden sceptre before breaking down into tears and crossing the bridge to meet her mum. She looked so thrilled, excited and jittery – with a stomach literally full of butterflies.
