She accused him of escorting her to the front door of her mother’s house.

“The Oklahoma City Police Department is pleased with the jury’s decision regarding the Daniel Holtzclaw trial”.
“The only thing I could see was my life flashing before my eyes and his gun holster on his left side”, she said. She said she was pulled over for no reason and as she was begging the officer not to make her do what he was asking for.
“It shows that there is a hope for our country, there is hope for society and there is hope for all our sisters, mothers, wives, daughters, who are victims of rape, no matter what race they are, what ethnicity they are, what social-economic class and status they’re in”, said Benjamin Crump, a lawyer who plans to sue the city on behalf of some of the women.
The mind boggles at just how bad his life is about to become as a rapist of poor black women.
Two of the 13 Black women who were sexually assaulted by former Oklahoma police officer Daniel Holtzclaw are speaking out, less than 24 hours after a jury found Holtzclaw guilty on 18 counts of rape and sexual assault.
“This is not just happening in Oklahoma City”, Crump said. Holtzclaw drove her home and walked her to her door, where he told her he had to search her. She said he grabbed her breasts, then pulled down her shorts before forcing them off and raping her.
“I don’t care what they look like, where they go to church, what god they worship, or how much money they make”, he said. Brown was killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. “We should take it as a sign of progress that Holtzclaw was convicted”, she said.
The yearlong investigation by AP found about 1,000 police officers who lost their licenses over for sexual misconduct and crimes, ranging from rape to propositioning citizens.
Holtzclaw is facing 263 years while Jones’ misguided beliefs is giving the SoulSociety101 a awful name. Prosecutors alleged that he stopped women on the pretense of checking them for outstanding warrants or drug-related items, then forced them to perform sexual acts.
But others, including one of the victims’ mothers, said they were waiting for the formal sentencing before deciding whether justice had been done.
Jury members will return to the courthouse Thursday morning for their fourth day of work in the case of Daniel Holtzclaw, who faces 36 counts of rape, sexual battery and other charges. The youngest victim was 17 years old at the time of the assault.
“We understand that there were other women who called before, whose calls went unanswered”, Crump said, referring to the report to police that resulted in Holtzclaw’s arrest.
He asked if it was the first time she had ever had sex with a cop, she testified. Her DNA was found on the inside and outside of Holtzclaw’s trousers.
Holtzclaw’s attorney, Scott Adams, asked the girl about perceived inconsistencies in her testimony as well as her use of drugs. “I was a victim, I was traumatized, I went to therapy…I still live with this day after day”.
Daniel Holtzclaw sobbed uncontrollably as he was convicted on Thursday, his 29th birthday, of rape, sexual battery and other charges.
The AP does not identify victims of sex crimes without their consent and is not using the mother’s name, but is using Ligon’s name because she spoke publicly.
Several of Holtzclaw’s accusers had been arrested or convicted of crimes, and his attorney made those issues a cornerstone of his defense strategy.
The investigation led to more women coming forward, with confidence they would be believed.
Prosecutors said Holtzclaw targeted women when he came across them while on patrolling.
Holtzclaw, who turned 29 on Thursday, was a former college football star who joined law enforcement after a brief attempt at pursuing an NFL career.
Daniel Holtzclaw, center, puts his head on the table and cries as the verdicts are read in his trial in Oklahoma City, Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015. At least one accuser was present, as well as several black community leaders.
Questions of race also surrounded the trial. Holtzclaw is half-white, half-Japanese. All his accusers are black.
“There’s a natural tendency to believe the officer”, said Joshua Marquis, the district attorney in Clatsop County, Oregon, who has prosecuted numerous cases against police, including some sexual offenses.
Some supporters of the women had questioned whether the jury would fairly judge their allegations, and Prater said he had wanted a jury that was a “good cross-section of our community”, but defense attorneys eliminated every potential black juror during the selection process.

Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Mark Opgrande said Friday that Daniel Holtzclaw is in special protection inside the jail as a precaution because of his demeanor after the trial.
