Victor Cruz won’t practice or play against Bengals
New York Giants quarterback Ryan Nassib throws during the Giants’ joint NFL football training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals, Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Cincinnati.

The teams will practice together in the afternoon and again Wednesday before the first pre-season game Friday night. “I’m actually getting more and more comfortable with it as the days go by, so I’m feeling good”.
It went as the two coaches had expected.
“You can never be comfortable, you can never be satisfied because there’s always room to work, but it’s always about knowing the situation”, Bengals linebacker Emmanuel Lamur said. “You’re ejected from the game”. So it shouldn’t be an issue.
That seems to be the attitude of numerous Giants’ players as they prepare for the Bengals and the almost inevitability that someone or something will spark a heated exchange between the two teams at some point. “But it is good for your team to work against someone else, the intensity goes up a notch and they realize all the drills are meant for their own improvement and to get a handle on where your team exactly is”. “We were very dominant, I think, just in terms of executing and doing jobs and being where we’re supposed to be”. Many of us think he just had to take a leak – confirming our overzealous obsession about the Bengals. They don’t have it happen on their fields. “We’re not going the destructive route and starting fights and that stuff”. “We’re excited to get all our balls in one corner and get this thing rolling”.
Late in Monday’s practice, Josh Johnson began taking more repetitions with the second unit offense as AJ McCarron stood on line with starter Andy Dalton. Dalton completed a short pass to A.J. Green on the first play. Balls were sent at Dalton’s feet with him both under center and in shotgun formations.
Nonetheless, Cruz admitted that he want to get a couple of preseason snaps in simply to get his ft moist.
“I know I’m not going to do anything against Cincinnati, throughout practices or anything like that. I try to be a sponge around him just because he’s been around so long and he’s seen nearly everything and done nearly everything”, said Nassib. “For a practice like this, everybody is anxious and going hard so you have to take care of each other”.

“We’ll fix it”, Jackson said. I thought we played fast, but there was a late fourth quarter fizzle, and that’s just unacceptable. It’s really bragging rights for that whole year. It will be interesting to see how those practices go, as head coach Tom Coughlin has made it clear he will not tolerate brawling at these joint practices with the Bengals like what was seen between the Houston Texans and Washington Redskins over the weekend. Then on Tuesday, McCarron didn’t suit up at all as he watched the team practice against the Giants.
