Beckham, who turned her hand to designing less than a decade ago, also follows in the footsteps of revered Céline designer Phoebe Philo who took home the award in 2010.

“We are incredibly excited about this year’s British Fashion Awards, and delighted to be working in partnership once again with Swarovski”, said Natalie Massenet, chairman of the BFC, in a release.

The 41-year-old fashion designer – who has won the event’s Brand award twice in 2011 and 2014 – was picked by 800 panellists who are key leaders in the industry.

Here is a list of the 2015 British Fashion Awards nominees… A host of established British brands including Burberry, Anya Hindmarch and Erdem are among the big names in with a chance of picking up a gong.

The nominees for the annual British Fashion Awards have this morning be announced with all the usual suspects present. This year Cara isn’t nominated, while Georgia May Jagger, Jourdan Dunn and Malaika Firth made the shortlist.
