Victoria’s Secret slammed for supposed Photoshop mistake

Last week, Victoria’s Secret posted an Instagram photo of Martha Hunt and Stella Maxwell wearing Body by Victoria bras, but something about the ad doesn’t seem to sit well with its followers. Yet another: “That is a long arm look where the elbow is”.

Thanks to an anonymous Victoria’s Secret retoucher, we already knew its models’ breasts, nipples, armpits and pubes were fair game for digital adjustment and “meat” was often added to their bodies post-photoshoot. “The Photoshopping on the arm of the girl on the left is concerning”, another commenter wrote on Facebook. At first glance it appears to be a normal lingerie picture, however, a lot of people are questioning the size of Hunt’s arms. “It’s obvious they photoshopped another photo of Hunt onto this particular photo”.

“Ok guys. These are literally some of the most lovely women in the world”. They’re going to use photoshop because nearly all advertising with models are photoshopped. 2.

It’s just what happens and, in most (not all) cases, the model looks even better PhotoShopped, which makes her (or him) less likely to distract from the product they’re pitching.

I don’t expect models to “look like me”, and I don’t need them to.

Another day, another possible Photoshop fail.

Victoria’s Secret has found itself in the firing line once again for going overboard with airbrushing one of the Angels.
