Model Gigi Hadid landed her dream gig as a Victoria’s Secret Angel on her third attempt after twice failing to impress the lingerie firm’s bosses in the past. These models are featured in several shows specifically, but they also have a huge presence in the fashion industry generally.
The bra is said to have taken more than 685 hours to create, and features 14 different varieties of stone – including blue topaz and yellow sapphire – which are all set in 18 karat gold.
Last, but certainly not least, our girl Lily, who’s been an Angel since 2010, was the lucky one selected to wear the $2 million Fantasy Bra for this year’s main event.
Kendall’s BFF Gigi Hadid also graced the Victoria’s Secret runway for the very first time and seemed to be having a ball.
Yesterday’s eagerly anticipated fashion show was held at NYC’s Lexington Avenue Armory and saw Ellie Goulding, The Weeknd and Selena Gomez perform. “I was like, ‘Mom and Dad are good enough, ‘” she told the site, “I just need the pressure off. There’s enough pressure as it is”. “Maybe afterward. Because right now I am extremely nervous, I am peeing myself”. She worked out like insane before the VS Show!
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion show airs on US TV network CBS on December 8th.
But she asked her famous siblings to stay away for the big occasion, explaining to Extra: “It makes you more comfortable and honestly sharing this moment with one of your best friends is so awesome”. You’ve got to have the moves. Rock an American flag, of course!
