Victory against Aston Villa secures flawless week for Arsenal
Arsene Wenger said that Arsenal had enjoyed a “perfect week” after it won 2-0 at Aston Villa Sunday to supplant Manchester City at the Premier League summit.

Arsenal strolled to victory this weekend, with a comfortable 2-0 win away to Aston Villa, so instead of arguing with each other, the travelling Gunners’ fans chanted about Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
We want to beat City at home. ‘We have now a week to prepare and it will be an interesting one. First we performed under the pressure of a nightmare November to grind out a win over Sunderland and then we put our previous record away to Olympiacos firmly to one side when our backs were to the Champions League wall and we followed that by showing great professionalism to get the job done away to Aston Villa.
” I believe that the approach was right, first half we were completely in control, and I was a bit anxious about the second half, because we gave a lot on Wednesday night a long trip and second half was more hard”.
The German play maker is world class superstar whose eye of the final pass is just too good that his former Real Madrid teammates Cristiano Ronaldo had to question Real’s decision to sell the world cup victor by saying this, “Ozil knows me, he knows my movement. i don’t understand why they sold him, he a galactico”.
Olivier Giroud converted what appeared to be a harshly awarded penalty at Villa Park in the eighth minute for his 50th league goal for the north London side.
It was Giroud’s fourth goal in two games following his hat trick midweek in the Uefa Champions League at Olympiakos.
Giroud was certainly an outlet here, regularly launching himself into the air in order to win as many long balls as possible, and while he occasionally came off second best in his battles with Joleon Lescott, his presence was an undoubted nuisance for the Villa defender. ‘He’s a player who likes to play with his back to goal and bring people in, so he’s not maybe spectacular individually.
Klopp let his players take a bow hand-in-hand in front of the Kop after snatching a very late draw at home to Albion. “We are struggling, I still haven’t won a game and I’m very frustrated but I know in football you can change things with work”.
Arsenal were knocked at the last-16 stage by Monaco last season and Miles admits they face a very hard proposition this year. I still believe we have the talent to win games.
Scott Sinclair has admitted that with no side surviving relegation with so few points at this time of the season, the fact could ironically set a new Premier League piece of history is all the motivation he and his team mates need to pull off the most unlikely of relegation escapes this season.
He added: “I’m happy to have a team who still create chances”.

“We can still be safe but we are coming into a period where we have to win”.
