Video clip showing drunk cop in Delhi Metro goes viral
A video clip purportedly showing a drunk policeman travelling in Delhi metro has gone viral on social media, raising concerns about safety of the commuters and violation of the DMRC rules.

Officials of Delhi metro allegedly refused to comment on the video saying that the Central Industrial Security Force is in-charge of the security in Metro.
The third edition of the survey, which was also conducted in 2013 and 2014, will cover over one lakh passengers spread across 50 Metro stations, the DMRC statement said.
The CISF, on the other hand, said it is in no position to begin a probe since nobody had filed any complaint. In June, a man boarding the Delhi metro was caught urinating inside the train.

“Apart from collecting feedback about the above mentioned aspects, awareness drives will be conducted on issues such as not littering in the Metro, sitting on the floor, obstructing the train doors, use of lifts/ escalators, drive to check misuse of women’s coach, drive against return journey etc.”, the DMRC said. Towards the end of the video, the cop falls to the ground only to be helped by fellow passengers. The video, which was uploaded on to Facebook by user Amit Thakurajan on August 21, has seen over 19,000 shares and over 600,000 views on the social media site alone. The same year, the Delhi Police had fined over 5,500 people for entering the Metro premises in drunken state.
