Video shows Florida woman’s close encounter with bear
The woman said she was playing a game on her phone when she looked up and saw the bear staring at her. “People should be mindful that black bears are highly unpredictable, wild animals”. “At this point he was so close to me, I was afraid to move”, Teliece Sander said. That’s Sander’s knee in the video. “At this point, he was so close to me”.

Terrified that the bear could attack her, she sent a photo of the bear to her son with the message: “Help me”.
“I thought she was messing with me, I thought she got a new app or something”, Colton Sander said.
Whether it was second person, or that the second person is 6-6, 325, the bear did walk slowly away. They’ll use distinguishing markings seen in the video to identify the bear once it’s caught but from there its fate is still undetermined.
Officials believe the availability of food in the area has attracted the bear. This bear, they report, has lost its fear of humans most likely because it’s learned food is available in this area.
The FWC said traps are being placed in the area to capture the bear due to its apparent lack of discomfort around humans.

A video released by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission shows a fearless black bear coming up to a woman in the Markham woods area in Longwood, Florida, and while nothing bad happened, the FWC isn’t too pleased about the whole interaction.
