Police in Miami Beach say they killed a razor-wielding man suspected in a bank robbery early Saturday. Multiple outlets are reporting that some witnesses thought the attack was a performance piece.

Kravitz is among dozens of celebrities, including Hilary Swank, Sylvester Stallone, Eva Longoria and Katie Holmes, who are in town for the prestigious art fair, which is an extension of the annual contemporary art fair in Basel, Switzerland.
Neither woman was displaying art at the show, both were patrons.
Prieto then said that after the victim confronted Zhao, she pulled out an X-Acto knife and stabbed the victim in the right side of the neck and left shoulder without warning. “The attack was an isolated incident that was immediately secured”.
“A guy walked up to me and said, ‘I thought I saw a performance, and I thought it was fake blood, but it was real blood, ‘” Fisher recalled. The perpetrator, who was not initially named by the police, was arrested at the scene of the crime, literally seconds after it happened.
Police Chief Daniel Oates said one officer on the scene was wearing a body camera that also captured the deadly encounter, but that the video can not be released to the public yet under state law. However, several onlookers thought the stabbing was a performance art presentation, while others believed the police tape blocking off an area inside the convention center was part of an installation.
Witness Sylvia Rodriguez told the newspaper that she was walking to a nearby corner store when the shooting happened. I’m so freaked out. “Our thoughts are with the victim”.
Security guards and event organizers worked quickly to clean up the scene to avoid further disruptions.

Sculptor Gregg Hill told the Herald that people were told a sculpture fell on the woman and went back to looking at the exhibits. “It was calm and everyone was milling around and talking”. Just like everyone else, they did not realize a stabbing had taken place.
