To his credit, the principal got right back up and proceeded to subdue the teen who flipped him.

As a effect of the brawl, two 15-year-olds and a 13-year-old were arrested and taken to juvenile hall, Sacramento County sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Tony Turnbull told the Sacramento Bee.

Security has been increased Tuesday at Florin High School after several notes were found last week in the girl’s bathroom that included a threat with today’s date.

The fight involved a small number of the school’s 1,500 students.

It isn’t clear if the student who slammed Ross to the floor was arrested.

Alex Hider is a writer for the E.W. Scripps National Desk.

It shows students scrambling around and over desks and fighting one another in the school cafeteria. “I (saw) school officials getting hurt”.

In a letter to parents, shared with KTXL-TV, Ross said that all three school officials sustained minor injuries that required medical attention. He got back up and pulled the charging student from the fracas. A school resource officer from the sheriff’s department was seen on the clip stepping in as well.

Elk Grove Unified School District spokeswoman Xanthi Pinkerton said the altercation stemmed from a disagreement in the personal lives of the students.
