Arsenal continued their unbeaten pre-season campaign with an 8-0 drubbing of Norwegian side Viking FK at the Viking Stadion in Stavanger this evening.
Iwobi completed his brace in the 81st minute with a powerful finish from the edge of the box to get Arsenal’s seventh, before Chuba Akpom rounded off the scoring in the 89th minute to make it 8-0.
With the floodgates swinging open, Walcott made it three, smashing home from close range after being teed up by Campbell, and the Costa Rica forward doubled his own tally just six minutes later when he fired a shot in off the crossbar after Iwobi sent him free into the area.
Arsene Wenger’s men face Manchester City in Sweden on Sunday for their last friendly, with both Alexis Sanchez and Aarom Ramsey expected to feature.
Today, Arsenal Mania have devised what we believe could be Arsene Wenger’s chosen starting eleven for tonight’s friendly against Viking FK.
It was another Cazorla corner which brought about the first goal, as his cross found Elneny rising high once more. It was a topsy-turvy ride for midfielder Santi Cazorla who a missed a penalty early on, but made up for it by striking a belter in the second-half.
Three minutes later Theo Walcott got his name on the scoresheet after a good touch and finish into the far corner.
A third goal in five minutes came from an Arsenal cross, with Michael Haukas clumsily chesting the ball into his own goal despite the ‘keeper’s best efforts to keep it out.
The Gunners led by just one at the interval, but scored seven goals without reply in the second half – including a spell of four goals in nine minutes – to run out convincing winners in the opening match of their Scandinavian tour.

Arsenal fans also want to see the side defend well as that is another area of concern with Koscielny and Mertesacker not available for the visit of Liverpool in the first Premier League match.
