Vikings coach has ‘no concern’ about Bridgewater’s injury

The 36-year-old Hill played most of the first half, going 10 of 17 for 129 yards in the team’s 18-11 win over the Seahawks.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who missed the team’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, should be back in action soon. Bridgewater reportedly has a sore shoulder, according to Ben Goessling of ESPN.

“Teddy could have played (Thursday), but I decided not to play him”, Zimmer said.

Now the real reason as to why Bridgewater donned a ball cap on the sidelines has been revealed.

Following Saturday’s practice, Mike Zimmer told reporters that there is, “no concern” with his starting quarterback.

Head coach Mike Zimmer declined to explain the surprise sit, repeatedly saying “it was my decision”, including when asked about the quarterback’s health during the game.

Sorensen is a three-year veteran who spent time the previous two seasons with Tennessee and San Diego, but never has appeared in an National Football League regular-season game. The first official injury report is due prior to the first regular-season game.
