EA Sports recreated the missed field goal by Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh that could’ve sent his team to a division match up against the Carolina Panthers on their hit video game, Madden NFL 16.

Blair Walsh is a class act. It features Walsh lining up a kick for the Vikings, but the controller aimed wide left – just like his miss on Sunday.
The letters and drawings were considerable pick-me-ups in contrast to vitriolic anger directed toward the kicker on social media after Minnesota’s 10-9 loss to Seattle in the Wild Card round of the NFC playoffs.
The Vikings say Walsh will visit the first-graders Thursday morning.
“Keep on tryin. We love you so much”, one student said. He missed it. Are you kidding me? “They just know I’m a Vikings player so for them to show that kindness and empathy toward me is remarkable”.
He made time to answer the kids’ questions.
