Vikings likely to start Sam Bradford at QB over Shaun Hill

The Packers aren’t out for revenge, but you can bet their regular season loss to Minnesota at the end of previous year has put a chip on their shoulder as they prepare to try and go into the Vikings’ brand-new stadium in Minneapolis and spoil Sam Bradford’s debut. The Vikings will want to see more of what they saw in the second half of last week’s game, and if they can do that then they will stand a good chance against one of the strongest team’s in the NFL. The Packers and Vikings have combined to win the NFC North title in eight of the past nine seasons.

Because Hill was so ineffective at pushing the ball downfield, the Titans keyed in on Adrian Peterson, who had one of his worst days as a pro.

Despite a thin depth chart numbers-wise on the defensive line, the Packers’ run defense got off to a strong start in Week 1, limiting Jacksonville as a team to just 48 yards on 26 attempts. I expect the Packers to shut Peterson down and make Sam Bradford try and win the game.

The Vikings might need to have a near flawless game to win this one. Leave your thoughts and prediction below. Green Bay Packers won 27-23. Their opponent in Week 2, the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay since Brett Favre helped the Vikings to a sweep of the Packers in 2009.

Shields also missed four games late last season because of a concussion.

That’s right. Favre not only made 32 starts against the Vikings from 1992 through 2007, but he also made the fifth most starts against the Packers of any Minnesota quarterback since 1992.

The game will be the 110th meeting between the two cold-weather, midwestern rival teams – a series that has seen Green Bay with the edge, winning 58 against 49 Vikings wins and two ties. A 77-yard pick-six by Eric Kendricks, and a 24-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Danielle Hunter highlighted the day for the defense.

Minnesota is expected to start Sam Bradford at quarterback, who joined the team right before the start of the regular season. However, so will the Packers That makes this game all the more exciting.

“He’s not going to have a 100-yard game every game he plays”, linebacker Clay Matthews said. The Vikings need to hope Peterson can carry them, even though they won last week without him doing so.

Aaron Rodgers will be making his 17 start against the Vikings.
