Vikings-Packers season finale flexed to Sunday Night Football

There were numerous ways the Vikings could clinch a playoff berth before Sunday Night’s kickoff, but they were let down by a number of teams that included the Carolina Panthers and the Seattle Seahawks.
One week remains in the National Football League season and the Seattle Seahawks know they will be one of the NFC wild card teams. The Vikings played very well in a Sunday night Week 16 game against the Giants, and the Packers looked terrible in a 38-8 loss at Arizona.

In case you’re wondering, the temperature in Green Bay next Sunday is expected to be around 30 degrees. They would still be playing for the NFC North championship next week, as previously mentioned, meaning that they could still win the division (and a playoff spot) with a win next week. To qualify for the playoffs that year, they needed to beat the Packers in Week 17 at home, which allowed them to secure the No. 6 seed at 10-6, edging out the division-rival Chicago Bears in a tiebreaker. So I believe that the Cardinals will make the super bowl. Both teams are 10-5. But in a league as cyclical as the NFL is on a weekly basis, Sunday’s tilt should be an exciting one-and possibly serve as a preview of a playoff matchup to come.
