Vikings QB Bridgewater vows to attack rehab from knee injury

The Vikings immediately stopped practice after 25 minutes and asked reporters to leave the field while medical personnel tended to Bridgewater.

On Tuesday during a team drill, Bridgewater dropped back to pass and suffered the non-contact injury. He crumpled to the turf and grabbed his left knee while concerned teammates and athletic trainers hurried to his side.

This past weekend, Minnesota Vikings head coack Mike Zimmer broke a rule that Game of Thrones characters who actually survive learn fast: Don’t speak too soon. “It doesn’t look good right now”.

As the sporting world and Purple faithful all know, Teddy Bridgewater suffered a horrific injury at practice this week and is lost for the season.

“With a knee dislocation, you tear at least two of the four major ligaments in the knee”, Greene said. The knee was placed in an air cast before he was taken to a nearby hospital. The Minnesota Vikings’ third-year signal caller suffered a disclocated left knee and a completely torn ACL. Bridgewater will have surgery in the next few days, and is expected to make a full recovery. He addressed the team in full after practice was called off and said he had also spoken multiple times to Bridgewater’s mother.

Bridgewater had overcome an off-season shoulder injury and played spectacularly at times in the pre-season, especially in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against San Diego. Zimmer stressed that his football team is more than just his quarterback, pointing out a revamped offensive line, Adrian Peterson, among other aspects. “Everyone can count us out if they want, but that would be the wrong thing to do”.

“Teddy’s such a great kid”, Zimmer said. One could only imagine the pain that Bridgewater had to be enduring when the injury occurred and is more than likely still feeling at this very moment. “We’re going to grieve today and be upset about it”. If the Vikings can bring back Sorensen, he and Joel Stave would both play in the team’s final preseason game.

Coincidentally, the Vikings apparently intend to enter the regular season with Shaun Hill as the starting quarterback.
